Peer Support Groups

Facilitated by behavioral health professionals and trained volunteers, our groups provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can share their experiences, express their feelings, better understand grief and loss, and connect with others who are navigating a similar journey.

As the only children's bereavement program in the region, Willow Center is committed to ensuring that no child or family has to grieve alone.

By fostering connection and understanding, we help reduce the isolation that often accompanies grief.

Our peer support groups are held in Lewiston, Idaho, and meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month for approximately 85 minutes.

Groups are organized by age and developmental stage and include:

·       Preschool Group

·       Primary Group

·       Intermediate Group

·       Teen Group

·       Adult Caregiver/Parent Group

Our program is family-centered because we believe that supporting children and teens also means supporting the adults who care for them.

By engaging caregivers alongside children, we help strengthen coping skills, communication, and connection throughout the family system.

Willow Center offers a confidential and welcoming space where children, teens, and caregivers can share their stories, honor their experiences, and discover healthy ways to move forward while carrying the memory of those they love.
